Tim Brown has just returned from running a Phenocam workshop for TERN sponsored by ACEAS. The workshop collected a group of researchers from around Australia and representatives from NEON in the US and the Chinese Ecological Research Network (CERN). They had a very successful meeting and will release a white paper with recommendations to TERN and the Supersite Network for creating an Australian hpenocam network. The working group will als write a peer reviewed paper discussing the unique phenology of Australia with preliminary analysis from existing phenocam datasets in Australia.
